Club History
Brighton and Hove Albion were founded in 1901 and endured decades of financial struggles before their modern transformation. The club famously reached the 1983 FA Cup Final but spent years battling relegation and even playing at Gillingham's ground while homeless. The construction of the Amex Stadium in 2011 marked a turning point, and under Roberto De Zerbi, Brighton qualified for European football for the first time in their history. The Seagulls have become one of the Premier League's most admired sides for their progressive playing style and brilliant recruitment.
