Club History
Frosinone Calcio were founded in 1928 in the city of Frosinone in the Lazio region, about 80 kilometers south of Rome. The club spent the vast majority of their history in the lower divisions of Italian football before earning their first ever Serie A promotion in 2015. Frosinone's rise from the amateur ranks to the top flight is one of the more inspirational stories in modern Italian football.
