Club History
FC Internazionale Milano were founded in 1908 by members who broke away from AC Milan to create a club open to players of all nationalities — hence the name "Internazionale." The club's greatest era came under Helenio Herrera in the 1960s with their famous catenaccio system winning two European Cups. Jose Mourinho's historic treble in 2009-10 (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League) remains one of the greatest achievements in club football. Inter won Serie A in 2024 under Simone Inzaghi.
