SS Lazio were founded in 1900 and are one of the two major clubs in Rome, sharing the Stadio Olimpico with fierce rivals Roma. The club won their first Serie A title in 1974 and their second in 2000, the latter as part of an incredible season that also saw them win the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa. Lazio's rivalry with Roma in the Derby della Capitale is one of the most intense and passionate in world football.
