Club History
Leicester City were founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse and have become one of the most remarkable stories in football history. The club's extraordinary 5000-1 Premier League title win in 2015-16 under Claudio Ranieri is widely regarded as the greatest sporting upset of all time, transforming a side that had narrowly avoided relegation the previous season into champions. Leicester also won the FA Cup for the first time in 2021, beating Chelsea at Wembley. Despite financial challenges and relegation in 2023, the Foxes bounced back to the Premier League.
