Club History

SSC Napoli were founded in 1926 and are the pride of southern Italy, representing the passionate and vibrant city of Naples. Diego Maradona's arrival in 1984 transformed the club, leading them to their first two Serie A titles in 1987 and 1990. After financial difficulties saw the club relegated and refounded, Napoli returned to Serie A and won the Scudetto in 2023 under Luciano Spalletti — their first in 33 years — sparking wild celebrations across the city.
