Club History
Real Valladolid were founded in 1928 in the historic Castilian city of Valladolid. The club has spent much of their history oscillating between the first and second divisions of Spanish football. Former Brazilian international Ronaldo Nazario became the majority owner of the club in 2018, bringing international attention to the club. The Estadio Jose Zorrilla hosted matches during the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
