Club History
Udinese Calcio were founded in 1896 in the northeastern Italian city of Udine in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. The club became famous for their innovative scouting network under the Pozzo family, discovering world-class talents like Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Di Natale, and Samir Handanovic from around the globe. Udinese finished third in Serie A in 2012 and have been consistent members of Italy's top flight.
